If Episode 103 didn't make it clear, I'm not afraid to put more Transformers back into ACT, but should I?

I don't know...you sure you want Hasbro as an enemy?...they got powers, uh oh! I said too much!
I really don't care, I'm in it for the humor, but it's probably better to play it safe...

Hasbro's main concern was that I could forseeably make a dollar off of t-shirts that could forseeably have a transformer on them. I honestly don't think they'd be evil enough to try to shut me down as long as the store's gone. But if I ever want to have t shirts or other products again, I'd have to phase Transformers completely out of the comic. Mostly, I'm just being a big baby about the whole thing There shouldn't be any real danger at this point. A careful person would keep Prime as a human and slowly phase out the transformers (as I've done so far), but I'm getting tired of worrying about such silly legal issues, and it really shouldn't be a problem anyway. My policy has always been that if Hasbro or any other interested party ever contacts me about something I'm doing and asks me to stop, I will. I just didn't like how they shut down my store without even contacting me.

well, you bought the transformers, you should be able to use them how you want, I'd be pretty annoyed if I bought a toy and it tells you how to play with it, now the T-shirt thing, that I can understand because your making money off something that includes their idea, but since you took the store down, I don't think they'll care...
then theres plan B, you join forces with Hasbro then work your way to the top of the company and then you can name it, "Jeffro"...think about it...

The Transformers are as important a part of this comic as the twinkees themselves. Do NOT phase out the transformers. As for the shop, you could always work out some sort of deal with hasboro (sp?) where they get a percent of your profit or something. I say, personally, once you BUY a toy, you should be able to do whatever the **** you want with it. Its not like you are harming the companies, far from it. When people see your comic and see the toys, many of them will want some of their own, and thats where toy stores come in, and then the companies make MORE money. hey, you could set up a shop where people can directly order toys from hasboro and you get a % of the cash. Just maybe a mirror to their online ordering or somethin, set up a deal with them.
In conclusion, dont phase out ANY of the characters. Especially the transformers. The whole robot thing is cool.

Dear Creators of ACT,
First off, I'd like to apologize to you for using your abbreviation, ACT. I apologize because your site is simply not worthy of brevity. But alas, I should refrain from being honest because after I finished burning my eyes out with acid and lye, in a vain attempt to cleanse them after viewing your lame, inept, and unintelligible "comic", I realized that I no longer had any reason to believe in anything higher than myself, and that a single, unifying morality cannot exist in a world as unjust in allowing a "comic" such as this to exist. Therefore I do not see a reason to even begin this letter with honesty. And speaking of honesty, your pathetic excuse for banners blatantly display what sad attempts to rely on to make sure that any person trying to view your "comic" as a means of entertainment will be sufficiently brainwashed into voting for you. Your "comics" and their feeble attempt at even vague toilet humor fail to bring the slightest relief from the average human relief from the normal torment of living. The philosophy of your site is one that reminds me of a few 20 year olds crammed in their college dorm room, after studying for their Computer Systems Management final, and seeking some sort of fame by posting "comics" with action figures having sex with cats. I encourage any person viewing your site to first reevaluate your reason for living, second, discontinue to vote for your site, and third begin to search for other, more entertaining, more intelligent means of wasting their time. Finally, with the intelligent charade coming to an end, I shall dispense with the intelligent dialogue and move right on to the rambling swear words.

wow. i really hope that was a joke. anywho as for the actual phasing out tfs issue i don't see it being worthwhile. wouldn't the other characters on t-shirts be copyright infringement as well? granted in my mind something titled "As CYBERTRON Turns", should stick with the transformers. granted i'm sure as long as the comedy stays the same i'll most likely stick around.

Well 10caesar, I'm touched you took the time to write, and I was actually enjoying your letter (which is apparently far more humerous than my comic) when I arrived at all the expletives. I thought I was the one with the toilet humor

Technically yes, though neither Hasbro nor any other toy company seems quite as paranoid about protecting those other copyrights; plus a few characters are no longer owned by any American company. True enough, at least in spirit You and 10caesar both ;D

10caesar: 1) First English 60, then comp. 101. 2) If life is "torment", maybe you should try drugs, or something. JWM
