Does anybody watch it? Well, here's my review of the 3 existing seasons:
Episode 1: "The contest of a new era"
Season one of AI was an overnight hit. Judges pick from thousands of people across the country to become America's next pop star. I really don't remember too many contestants from the first year. (None that I really like anyway) but I do remember the final episode, it had come down to Justin and Kelly, after plenty of Ford commercials of supspense, America saw that Kelly was their new Idol. as for Justin, let's just say he help make part of the best Justin stew I ever made.
Episode 2: "Battle of the Idols"
Ok, When season 2 started I was already starting to lose interest, The judges were the same (except Simon was more cocky than ever) and of course, we have thousands of no talents walking up on the stage and acting like they're the best (which in a sense, they were) So finally get to see, Mr. Clay Akien, the man who would take the world of pop star contests by storm. The tall sort of dorky looking human proves the saying "you can't judge a book by it's cover" He didn't look like a pop star, but he sang like one. He was a singing king! But as he passed though week after week, another singing king was his rival. Ruben Studdard (sp?) The big man, with a big heart, the gentle giant, the dude who could crush Clay into the dust, the---(Well let's just say I liked him more than Clay) The both sang great, but one had to go. The final show came and was obivious that they were both worthy for the title, American Idol! the votes went in like crazy and in the end...Ruben was the winner! Season 2 was over, and people were pissed. Everyone thought that Clay should have won, people said they when they were trying to vote for Clay their votes were going in for Ruben.this striked a question...Was the contest rigged? Was for some reason the producers of the show wanted Ruben to beat Clay? If so, what was this reason? Well, in the end they both get record deal and Clay gets more money than Ruben.
Epiode 3: "American Idol lives"
This current season got off to a slow start, with the only that entertain most of us was the great William Hung! "SHE BANGS! SHE BANGS!" What a lovable little man! Anyway, This season didn't get real good until the top 12. There were some good ones then, like John (Stevens), Camile, Matt, George. But the best one of them all is...Jasmine Trias! The most beautiful contestant I have ever seen on this show. She was the perfect combination of talent and beauty. She had a great voice, and she's my favorite! So, my friends, I need to ask you a favor, vote for Jasmine, please! Make sure she wins this year. You'll make me so happy if you do.
A vote for Jasmine is a vote for a winner!
