Ah, I'll just make a new post.
Age: 26
Location: Southern Oregon
Occupation: Television Operations- A department of engineering at the local ABC station, I am the final person in the chain to oversee everything that goes out over the air, and verify that it is correct, visually acurate, and on time. Among other lesser responsibilities.
Funny things, I am a HUGE Indians fan, my 1970 Cougar has a Cleveland engine in it, and I was briefly hired to sell Cutco cutlery (Vector Marketing), but I didn't like the "sell to your friends" aspect, and left promptly. I've held a few sales jobs, but I've never felt comfortable with it. If it works for you, great. It is a great company to work for, and their pay was quite reasonable, as I remember.

Small world! Yeah, that "sell to your friends" thing was a major initial concern for me, as well, but I had a friend further along in the business who assured me it wasn't a scam. Looking back now, it wasn't. Cutco has such a huge market of eligable people to sell to and most of those people want it. They have you sell to friends and family first in order to establish your own leads base. That's all. It's really an awesome program! I never wanted to be a salesperson either, but the product is awesome and I believe everyone should have it. No need to lie, mislead, or pressure whatsoever I'm also quite impressed that you're an Indians fan. That's not an easy thing to be right now

Tell me about it. Without Thome, we're kinda screwed... I'm firmly of the belief that John Hart has to go for the organisation to be at all capable of salvaging what remains into a decent team again. Really, the team started its major decent when they dropped Hargrove(sp). But at least we've still got Visquel...
RE: Cutco, I agree on all you said, but I just came to the conclusion that sales is not for me. Don't have the will to try at it anymore. Those knives they make are top notch, though. Ironically, a couple years later, my parents bought a set from some complete stranger! And my parents are quite cheap! Surprised the hell out of me.

Seriously dude, it makes me happy to hear you enjoy it that much. Strange, all these members coming from Kittaning. Could there be a connection, I wonder....?
